Hebron and Hell

Monday, September 17th, 2007

I had heard that internationals were needed in the city of Hebron, so I decided to head out there. The journey took me through the town of Bethlehem. Somewhere you may well have heard of. However, it is far from the biblical idea of the place that springs to mind. The Israelis have walled off the town, sealing it off from the surrounding areas. ATG Tour and First Impressions of Palestine

Friday, April 6th, 2007

As a newby to Palestine (and indeed the Middle East) I have to admit I didn’t know what to expect. His clear brown eyes are staring at me with shooting force and his finger is pointing to the ground while he is instructing me: “Sit down!” he shouts.
What an expression of the superiority he feels!
