On 19th July 2010 the Israeli army demolished 26 homes in Al Farisiya in the Jordan Valley making 107 more Palestinians homeless. They also destroyed the shelters for over 1000 sheep that members of this bedouin community owned, and have 'confiscated' the sheep and demanded payment from the farmers for their food!

PRESS RELEASE: Israeli settlers tighten screw on Palestinian Bedouin communities

Between 20 and 30 armed settlers from the Maskiot settlement, supported by the Israeli army and police from the settlement, yesterday erected a tent flying Israeli flags just 10 metres away from the entrance to the Palestinian Bedouin community of El Maleh and ordered the Bedouin community off the land.
