Water Project Update: November 2009
Members of the delegation from Brighton visited the Zoba community. When the call came in the middle of the night they went out to the road with the villagers. The pipes were brought out on huge reels, and collectively unrolled by a collective chain of local people and visitors.
Within 15 minutes enough pipe had been laid along the ground to supply the Zoba community with water. A pump was then installed.
By the following morning 42 families had access to clean running water for drinking, cooking, washing and to irrigate their crops!
